This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, symbolizing a new phase of cooperation under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor 2.0 and the Digital Silk Road initiative. On May 13, His Excellency Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarters of Beijing United Information Technology Co., Ltd. (IBI) in Islamabad, calling it a milestone in bilateral relations and digital economic cooperation. The event attracted the participation of Chinese and Pakistani officials as well as representatives from over 200 enterprises, highlighting the increasingly close alignment between China's industrial strengths and Pakistan's digital transformation needs. IBI aims to promote cross-border trade, digital supply chains, and enterprise collaboration, positioning itself as a strategic hub for the Belt and Road market. By signing over 110 agreements, this initiative has further strengthened the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between China and Pakistan, advancing shared development goals through innovative digital integration.
